I've tried writing my life experiences (not story...b/c hey, I'm far from done living it) and have found it extremely difficult to relive many of them. But....when you put it in a fictionalized version, suddenly it becomes cake. The characters can say and do all the things I wished I'd done or said. You can be just who you've always wanted to be in fiction....yay! I’ve discovered that this is the best way for me to get my story out as well.
